Mission
A Leg Up Mentoring (ALUM) is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization that mentors aged-out foster care young adults that are pursuing some type of postsecondary education.
Our Goal
Only 37% of eligible young adults are enrolled in postsecondary education at age 21 in Florida, and the number dropped 61% from 2016 to 2021 in Florida. ALUM believes our mentoring can make a difference in raising this number.
