• Mike Hester

    Executive Director – Mike Hester, M.A. in Cross Cultural Studies, Fuller Theological Seminary. Mike worked in corporate America for 30 years in sales and consulting. Mentoring newer colleagues was always a passion. Mike also served as a Chaplain at Community Corrections of Larimer County for 3 ½ years where he mentored numerous men. One of Mike’s driving beliefs is “If you have been given a lot, you should give back a lot.” Mike is married to Kim and they have a son and daughter. Mike and Kim enjoy the beach, reading, and have a group of friends called “The Supper Club” dedicated to trying a new restaurant once/month.

  • Buck James

    Chairman – Buck James, M.A. Theology, Fuller Theological Seminary. Buck has been the Executive Director of Halifax Urban Ministries for the past six years. Prior to that, over 25 years he held positions of administrative leadership at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Abilene Christian University and Daytona State College. Buck is married and has a son, a daughter, and two grandchildren. Buck is a sports enthusiast and enjoys rowing with his wife.

  • Scott Joellenbeck

    Treasurer – Scott Joellenbeck, B.A. Education and B.S. Accounting, University of Illinois. Scott has been a lifelong accountant and currently has his own tax preparation and accounting business. He and his wife, Becky, have a son and daughter and one grandchild. They lived and worked in Brazil for 5 years. He has also served in various capacities on a church staff. He loves kayaking, biking and birding.

  • Edden Agonafer

    Senior Technical and Communications Adviser – Edden Agonafer, PsyD, Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Agonafer is a licensed clinical psychologist that has worked in various clinical settings such as school-based counseling, university/college counseling, community mental health, and integrated medical clinics. She is also a private practice therapist and provides Christian life coaching services.

    Dr. Agonafer is passionate about working with youth and young adults and currently provides therapy services to college students in Southern California. She is also an Adjunct Professor in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at the University of Southern California.

    When she is not working, Dr. Agonafer loves to be out in nature, enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, and learning about other cultures. She loves American football and the real futbol (lol). She is also a proud Alumni of the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em Horns!) and Fuller Theological Seminary.

  • Becky Joellenbeck

    Becky Joellenbeck – B.S in Social Work, University of Illinois. Becky loves working with children and families. She has a passion for one to one mentoring. She is currently volunteering in mentoring women coming out of the sex trafficking industry, young children in an under resourced elementary school, and a community resource center in an area of need. She is married to Scott sharing a son, a daughter, and one grandchild. Becky likes to read, kayak, and travel.

  • Daniel Romero

    Daniel Romero – B.A. in Pastoral Studies, Arizona College of the Bible. Daniel worked in the accounting department of two companies in Phoenix, Az for 14 years, and for 10 years in accounting for a company in Fort Collins, Co. He has been the Pastor of Genesis Church in Hereford, Tx. for the last five years. Daniel is married to Becky and has two sons, a daughter, and three grandchildren. He has a passion for teaching the Bible. His other lifelong passion has been mentoring men. He and Becky enjoy taking walks together and watching track and field. He is also a passionate Atlanta Braves baseball fan!

  • Gary Schulties

    Gary Schulties – B.S. Industrial Engineering, M.B.A. Economic Development, Eastern University. Gary has been the President of Compass Languages for the past 9 years, a company providing translation services for various organizations and companies. Prior to that he started businesses in Belize and Zimbabwe over a couple of decades. He is married to Evelyn and has two sons, three daughters, and one grandchild. His passion is studying the Bible. He and Evelyn love international travel and hosting dinner parties of 8-12 people.
