The Power of Resourcing

As part of our mission, we help resource aged out young adults in ways like getting their own apartment. Partnering with Foster Youth of America, we helped Cesar furnish his first ever apartment where he lives alone! Thank you Misty and Foster Youth of America!

• One of our aged out young adults became food insecure for a couple of months and ALUM partnered with a local church to help provide the needed sustenance

• One of our young women did not have enough resources to purchase non-food items with food stamps. ALUM provided personal care items for her.

• One of our young men, who is in college, had no transportation, and was not close to a bus line. ALUM donors collaborated with the young man, who provided a third of the cost himself, and pitched in to help buy him an electric scooter, lock, and helmet.
